This Agreement operates independently of any other written agreements you may have with House of Mehta for separate products or services. We endeavour to ensure that the Website remains available at all times; however, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. House of Mehta reserves the right to suspend or disable the Website for updates, maintenance, or other operational needs, though we will strive to minimise any disruption. We shall not be liable for any period during which the Website may be unavailable.

To securely view details relevant to your orders, you may be required to register using a valid email address and create a password. We strongly advise selecting a secure password and logging out after each session. If you forget your password, a reset option will be available. House of Mehta reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disable or terminate any user account, particularly in cases of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions.

Product Information
House of Mehta takes great care to ensure that product information, descriptions, and imagery on the Website are accurate. However, we are not liable for any inadvertent inaccuracies or omissions. Please note that images are for illustrative purposes only, and slight variations in appearance may occur due to differences in screen settings or photographic techniques. Products may appear larger or smaller than their actual size.
The Website offers lab-grown diamond and mined diamond jewellery or art pieces for personal use, encompassing both custom-made and ready-to-purchase designs, as well as loose lab-grown diamonds and mined diamonds for investment purposes. House of Mehta is not liable for any legal disputes that arise from differences between images and the actual products.
Prices
All prices displayed on the Website include applicable taxes and shipping costs, which will be itemised at checkout. House of Mehta reserves the right to modify product pricing at any time; however, you will be charged the price listed at the time your order is placed.
In the event that a pricing error occurs due to human or technical issues, and the error is not rectified prior to order completion, the order will be cancelled, and the payment will be refunded – even if the order was initially validated.
Orders
To place an order, you may be required to register on the Website after adding items to your cart. During the purchasing process, you may also be asked to provide legally required documentation, such as your Permanent Account Number (PAN) or GST number.
Orders will only be deemed finalised upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise stated.
House of Mehta may carry out random verification processes by contacting you directly and asking a security question. Orders will only be confirmed once successful verification has been completed.
We partner with third-party payment gateways to facilitate transactions. By selecting an online payment method, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the respective payment provider, including their privacy policies.
You are responsible for providing valid credit card information, and only credit cards lawfully belonging to you should be used for any transactions. House of Mehta shall not be held liable for credit card fraud or any unauthorised use of your card on the Website. Any misuse of the Website may result in legal action.

At House of Mehta, we are committed to the highest standards of authenticity, craftsmanship, and transparency. Each piece of jewellery purchased via our Website or through consultancy is accompanied by an independent third-party certification that attests to the quality and

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
Availability
We endeavour to process and fulfil all orders in a timely manner. However, should any product become unavailable after an order has been confirmed, we will initiate a refund of the full payment within 30 days. In the case of temporarily unavailable products, available items will be dispatched first, and the remaining items will be shipped once they are back in stock. Any delivery charges associated with the unshipped items will be refunded accordingly. Alternatively, we may offer a replacement product of comparable value, subject to your approval.
Delivery
House of Mehta strives to adhere to the delivery timelines provided on the Website; however, we are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers, unforeseen circumstances, or force majeure events. In the event of a lost shipment, a thorough investigation will be conducted with the relevant courier before any refunds or re-shipments are processed.
When placing an order, you are required to provide the full name of the recipient as it appears on a government-issued photo ID. At the time of delivery, the recipient will be required to present such ID for verification purposes, and their name and photograph will be cross-checked by the courier service.
Should delivery fail due to the recipient’s unavailability, House of Mehta reserves the right to impose a reshipment charge.
Lifetime Buy-Back and Lifetime Upgrade Policy
House of Mehta offers a Lifetime Buy-Back and Lifetime Upgrade Policy for products sold exclusively within India. This policy allows customers to either return their product for a refund based on its current market value or upgrade it to a new House of Mehta creation.
All items submitted under this policy are subject to a comprehensive inspection by our Quality Assurance Department to verify that the product remains free from damage, wear, alterations, or resizing. The final determination of eligibility for either buy-back or upgrade rests solely with the Quality Assurance Team.
Documents and Items Required
To process a Lifetime Buy-Back or Lifetime Upgrade request, the following must be submitted:
- The original product
- The original or a copy of the purchase invoice
- The product certification (where applicable)
- Valid government-issued identification of the individual initiating the request
- The warranty card (where applicable)
All products must be securely packaged and sealed to prevent any damage during transit (for example, bubble-wrapped or placed in a small box or padded envelope). Shipments under this policy must be arranged exclusively through our designated shipping partners:

Lifetime Buy-Back Terms
Under the Lifetime Buy-Back option, customers may return products for a refund based on their current market value. The refund amount will be 20% less than the prevailing market price (or ₹10,000, whichever is higher), which serves as a service fee for the management and processing of the product.
The buy-back process is subject to a quality inspection by House of Mehta. All returns must include:
- The original certificate
- The original invoice issued by House of Mehta
- The warranty card (where applicable)
This policy applies only to products sold in India.
All refunds will be processed via RTGS or NEFT, payable only to the name appearing on the original invoice, upon submission of valid government-issued identification and the product certificate. Refunds will be completed within 21 business days of receipt of the product at our registered office.
To initiate a Lifetime Buy-Back request:

- Contact our Customer Care team at +91 86570 20445 once your package and all required documents are ready for re-shipment.
Lifetime Upgrade Terms
Under the Lifetime Upgrade option, customers can exchange their existing House of Mehta product for a new one. In this case, the service fee is reduced to 10%, calculated on the current market value of the item being exchanged.
The new product will be billed at its prevailing price, with the adjusted value of the returned item credited towards the upgrade purchase. All upgrades are subject to the same quality verification and documentation requirements as the buy-back process.
To initiate a Lifetime Upgrade request:

- Call +91 86570 20445 to confirm the collection and processing details for your product.
7-Day Returns Policy
Under the 7-Day Returns Policy, customers may return eligible products within seven (7) days from the date of the shipping invoice for a full refund to the original method of payment (Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking).
All items submitted under this policy are subject to a comprehensive inspection by our Quality Assurance Department to verify that the product remains free from damage, wear, alterations, or resizing. The final determination of eligibility for return rests solely with the Quality Assurance Team.
To qualify, returned products must:
- Be in their original condition, free from scratches, damage, wear, or alterations
- Include the original packaging in saleable condition
- Include the product certificate (where applicable)
- Include a copy of the purchase invoice
- Include the warranty card (where applicable)
Refunds will be processed for the actual amount paid. If any discounts, coupons, or promotional codes were applied at the time of purchase, their equivalent value will be deducted from the refund. Refunds will be processed via online bank transfer within 21 business days of receiving the returned product.
For payments made via credit or debit card, or net banking, the refund will be processed as a transaction reversal.
A shipping fee of ₹750 will apply to all returns under this policy. Please note that this 7-Day Returns Policy applies only to available jewellery and excludes customised items.
To Initiate a Return Under the 7-Day Returns Policy

- Call +91 86570 20445 to confirm that your package, along with all required documentation, is ready for re-shipment.
Privacy and Protection of Personal Data
House of Mehta takes your privacy seriously and implements stringent measures to protect your information, including user, payment, and order data. We do not share your information with any third-party systems.
The details you provide us are essential for the processing and delivery of your orders, billing, and establishing warranty contracts. Failure to provide these details will result in the cancellation of your order. By registering on the Website, you agree to provide sincere and accurate information as it concerns you. Communicating false information is contrary to these Terms and Conditions.
You have the right to access and rectify all information that concerns you at any time. You can request to view the personal information we hold about you and request modifications. Cookies record certain information stored on your hard drive. This information enables us to generate statistics based on data from visitors to our site and suggest products that might interest you based on items you selected during previous visits. Cookies do not contain any confidential information about you.
You agree to allow House of Mehta to contact you with marketing, promotional, discount offers, and/or other information made available to our customers from time to time.

Any failure of the House of Mehta to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The Terms of Service constitutes the entire agreement between you and House of Mehta and governs your use of the service, superseding any prior agreements (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service). If any provision of these Terms of Service is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms of Service will continue in full force and effect.

All the content on House of Mehta’s website (illustrations, texts, names, brand names, images, and videos) is the property of House of Mehta. Any partial or total reproduction of this content, by any means and on any medium, is subject to prior and express authorisation by House of Mehta.
All information, content, and files are protected by law concerning intellectual property ownership and copyright. House of Mehta cannot give you the right to copy, display, or distribute content that you do not have the intellectual rights to. All fraudulent use of this content that violates the rights held by a third party constitutes an offense of forgery, which is severely punished under the intellectual property laws governing India.
House of Mehta will not, under any circumstances, be held responsible if a user violates rights held by a third party through their activities on the site.

You acknowledge and undertake that you are accessing the services on the website and transacting at your own risk, using your best and prudent judgement before entering into any transactions through the website. Any opinions left on the website by House of Mehta customers are screened and moderated by House of Mehta. If the comments infringe upon the law or are inappropriate (abusive publicity, defamation, insults, out-of-context commentary), House of Mehta reserves the right to refuse or modify them.
